Beyond Clinical Skills, led by Samantha Dickens, LMFT and founder of Sonder Behavioral Health, is a practical workshop designed for graduate students and therapists who want to better understand the business side of the counseling profession. Together, we’ll explore how branding, professional headshots, SEO, and therapist bios influence client decisions, while also breaking down the financial realities and costs of operating a private practice. We’ll discuss how personal patterns and blind spots can influence leadership, business ownership, and long-term success, with opportunities for self-reflection and meaningful group discussion. Participants will also have the option to receive professional headshots, leaving with both practical knowledge and tools to help build their careers with confidence.
